Privacy Policy
Notebook: Paper Games · last updated 20 October 2026
The app collects no data at all. Not anonymously, not in aggregate, not for a moment. There is no account to create and nothing to opt out of.
No data leaves your device
Notebook has no network code. It never contacts a server of ours, because there is no server of ours, and it carries no third-party SDK — no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporter. The games work with aeroplane mode switched on, which is the simplest way to see this for yourself.
What is stored, and where
- Your progress in each game, your statistics and your settings — paper colour, ink, sound — are written to the app's own storage on the device.
- That storage is included in your iPhone or iPad backup, under your own Apple account, where we cannot see it.
- Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no copy anywhere else.
No tracking
The app does not track you across apps or websites, does not read the advertising identifier and shows no ads. Its App Store privacy declaration says the same thing: no data collected, no tracking.
Children
The games are suitable for all ages, and there is nothing in them to be careful about: no chat, no user content, no links out, no purchases.
If this ever changes
A future version may add something that needs an explanation — anonymous usage counts, for example. If that happens, this page is updated before that version ships, and the App Store declaration changes with it.
